For over three decades, Andina Link has been a driving force behind the development of the Pay-TV, ISP, and telecom sectors in Latin America. It is a central hub for governments, businesses, and service providers seeking cutting-edge solutions for video services, advanced connectivity, and smart city developments across the region.

This year’s convention gathered representatives from over 30 countries, spanning Latin America, Europe, Asia, and North America. Among 5,000 attendees, there were government leaders, technology companies, startups, and key decision-makers.

As in previous years since 2021, Setplex attended Andina Link once again this year to connect with ISPs and discuss their needs and challenges in expanding their offerings with premium video services.

The Driving Forces Behind the Latest OTT Innovations in LATAM

Quality Content Delivery is the First Priority

At Andina Link 2025, one message came through loud and clear: LATAM audiences expect a streaming experience that rivals global platforms—and ISPs are feeling the pressure to deliver. Andina Link sessions focused on the shift in content consumption, the growing demand for fast, reliable broadband, and the need for a strong distribution infrastructure that can guarantee consistent quality.

ISPs with 10,000–50,000 subscribers are increasingly looking to expand their offerings with cable or streaming services. But challenges around infrastructure investment, monetization, and user experience remain, especially as many providers work to stay competitive against global OTT giants.

In response, exhibitors primarily showcased versatile, scalable OTT platforms and white-label video delivery solutions. Setplex presented its fully integrated OTT platform—providing ISPs with everything they need to launch and grow their TV services, from content ingestion and delivery to management, monetization, and multi-screen apps.

A Step Forward in Content Licensing

Throughout the show, we connected with dozens of ISPs looking to move beyond connectivity and offer full OTT platforms. A recurring challenge? Securing content rights while juggling tech infrastructure and monetization capabilities. Whether they were already offering cable or just starting their streaming journey, content brokering and licensing were top of mind.

And that’s why with Publicidad Multimedia, LATAM-based content brokers, by our side, we’ve offered a comprehensive solution that not only delivers the tech but also tackles content acquisition—removing the roadblocks so ISPs can go to market faster.

Let’s Continue Moving OTT Transformation Forward Together

Nelson Hulett, Regional VP, LATAM at Setplex, shared his insights from the event:

“We’re truly impressed by the growth of ISPs in the region. Those with 10,000 to 15,000 subscribers have now expanded to 30,000, which is remarkable. The turnout was incredible, and I must say that our strategic partnership with the Publicidad Multimedia team proved highly effective. Many ISPs turned to them for content and to kickstart their OTT transformation. We’re incredibly grateful and look forward to seeing everyone again next year”.
